EFFECTS.
here are the effects you must find in nexilitas. this list is composed of effects from several yume nikki fangames, including yume nikki itself, .flow, yume 2kki, lcddem, and yume nisshi.
#01. Gas Mask ; exactly what it says on the tin. no practical effect.
#02. Medamaude ; the user’s head transforms into a giant hand with an eyeball at the center. when the user closes the palm, it will instantly transport them back to the nexus.
#03. The Witch’s Broom ; enables quick travel throughout the network as well as flight.
#04. Child ; the user turns into a child. no practical effect, aside from eliciting interesting reactions from other characters.
#05.CHOICE: Axe/Knife/Steel Pipe/Nail Bat/Chainsaw ; this is your character’s main weapon. please choose ONE.
#06. Thorns ; makes thorns grow all over the user’s body, replacing their limbs and right eye.
#07. Nopperabou ; transforms the user into a faceless ghost. no practical uses.
#08. Viscera ; creates a large hole in the user’s stomach and leaves their intestines hanging out. no practical effect.
#09. Moon ; transforms the user’s head into the moon (not to scale).
#10. Match ; transforms the user’s head into a match. can be lit by selecting the “action” option on the communication device menu. can light up poorly lit areas.
#11. Triangle Kerchief ; makes the user invisible to enemies and other characters.
#12. Mono Eye ; transforms the user into a cyclops with a large red eye. no practice use.
#13. Tumbling Doll ; turns the user into a quadruple amputee, losing their arms and legs. no practical use.
#14. Psychedelic ; turns the user into various different colors. no practical use.
#15. CHOICE: Cat/Dog ; gives the user the tail, ears, and paws of the creature in question. attacts enemies and gives the user a chance to attack them by surprise. please choose ONE.
#16. Yukata ; exactly what it says on the tin. no practical use.
#17. Centaur ; transforms the user into a humanoid centaur. no practical use.
#18. Boy/Girl ; transforms the user into the opposite sex. no practical use.
#19. Flute ; exactly what it says on the tin. can be used to sooth certain enemies.
#20. Bat ; gives the user bat wings. similar use to the witch’s broom.
#22. Umbrella ; exactly what it says on the tin. utilizing this effect will cause it to rain wherever the user is.
#23. Stretch ; causes the user to double in size (proportionally). no practical use…for now.
#24. Wolf ; gives the user the paws, ears, and tail of a wolf. allows the user to howl, scaring enemies away.
#25. Plant ; transforms the user into a half-plant hybrid and replaces their right eye with a flower. allows the user to manipulate vines and plants.
Any three of these may be substituted for an effect or power of the player’s choice, as long as the character possessed that power in their canon. As well, please note that a character cannot have more than one effect equipped at a time.
